Hi, I'm new to these forums and I need help a bit choosing my armor for my healer monk. I'm at Droknar's Forge and I can't seem to decide, which armor to get.

None of em actually looks cool. The Censor armor is the best I think, next comes the silk armor and the ugliest must be tattoo armor.

And the normal armor that just gives armor and normal energy + is kinda pointless tough it too looks cool.

I mean, if I get Censor parts, then I'll be getting a heavy energy drop, but a good defense. If I get the silk parts, then I'll get magic resistance, which seems totally pointless kinda and the tattoo armor seems to be the best because it gives more energy than the others, but the armor is just... so ugly, specially on males.

It's disgusting to see your monk running around naked with toilet paper wrapped around as pants.

You know that you aren't bound to wearing a complete matching armour set, right? Why don't you do the Tattoos just boots and wrists, maybe chest and one of the pants armor types?

That way you can wear pants and still have a decent energy rating? o.x

I suggest all tats, especially for PvE, but if you're worried about looks, you can go all tats, and wanderer's for legs, that doesn't look so bad, especially if you die the chest tat to either stand out really well, or blend in with your skin color.

The 15k Ascetic's armor is not tattoos, so you could get that if you've got the cash.

It's not now, but I'm sure they will patch it to be tattoo eventually, and it will probably be cool if they do away with the Huggies.

For the original poster? I run Censor's shirt and pants and tattoo's on the head, arms and legs. It looks pretty cool (Better than 15k Judge and Sacred set IMHO). Best deal is it gives you the same energy as a full set of Sacred or Wanderer's except your two major hit areas stand up better to physical damage.

Since you like the silk set, maybe try that and some arm and leg tattoo's. Hopefully soon, somewill will make a dressing room program for GW so we can have an idea of how our characters will look.
